What a whirlwind week it’s been as we celebrate our 20th anniversary. So far, we’ve given away birthday cake, Zeb’s root beer, hats, balloons, stickers, bags of candy and kettle corn with plenty of more give-aways all week long right through Saturday.
Opening for operations on July 7, 1991 with 200 sq. feet of retail space and two employees, the store has grown to more than 6,600 square feet of retail space and 36 full and part-time employees today. The largest collection of New England made specialty foods in the world is found in the store’s two storied building accurately capturing the nostalgia of an “old time” mercantile. Zeb’s provides an incubator of sorts for New England cottage-based businesses, as approximately 80-percent of sales come from the small businesses found in New Hampshire and surrounding New England states.
In addition to our own celebration, the North Conway Village is in full summer mode with the summer tourists, great weather, and all the specialty shops offering a unique New England small-town shopping experience.
Stop by and celebrate with us!
